I’ve decided to actually get off my butt and do something for someone else after realizing that:
a.) I’m a pretty smart girl.
b.) I can be super motivated/motivating when I want to be.
and
c.) I’m fully capable of helping those who could use a little extra help.
After recent discoveries in the family, and feeling super helpless here in West Virginia, I’m doing the best thing I could think to do. And that was to join in a "Light the Night" walk with the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. All I have to do now is beg for a little money from all of my friends and family. 🙂
The walk is April 15 here in Wheeling and I’m a little nervous/anxious/excited to see just how much I can bring in for the cause. My goal at the moment is $200, which shouldn’t be that hard. (Let’s hope.) They’ve even set me up with a website so people can sponsor my walk from out-of-town. Here’s the link: http://www.active.com/donate/ltnPittsb/2557_kboltze
