Finally!!

Apr 23, 2009

Let’s just say that I’m excited my dealings with David’s Bridal are over and done with.  :)  Mary went with me after work tonight to pick up my (gorgeous) wedding gown…and to have her learn the ins and outs of the bustle work done on it.  The lady wasn’t exactly my favorite person to deal with…she actually was the only person I’ve been annoyed with this entire time that I’ve been doing business with DB.  Not a great way to end our relationship, ya know?

She was very pushy with Mary, instead of taking her time to teach and show her what to do.  I really didn’t like that….or the fact that she walked off for a while, only to come back and be pushy a bit more.  Sheesh lady!!  You’re dealing with brides, you should be peppy and make them feel like the princesses they want to be.

The worst part was when I went in the dressing room to take off the dress before she made the final touches….she left the curtains WIDE OPEN and just stripped the dress off of me, leaving me in just my underwear and bra for all the world to see.  How embarrassing!  I’m a very private person when it comes to being in my knickers, and you would think that she’d at least have the decency to shut the curtains so others wouldn’t see me.

In the words of Stephanie Tanner: HOW RUDE.

Oh well….at least I have my dress.  Kind of.  It’s at Mary & David’s house for safe keeping…but at least it’s done and I don’t have to worry about that part of the wedding planning anymore.  Isn’t the dress the most important part anyway?? 🙂

Don't let one crabby bitch get you down. I am so excited to see the dress, but I can wait. When are the invitations going out?

Trust me, if that was the worst that I'd have to deal with…I've got it easy. 🙂 I'm sure that if I needed someone to beat her up for me, one of my aunts would come to my rescue, haha.

Invitations should be going out this weekend…we finally bought the envelopes and are finishing up on stuffing all of them. It'll get done, my deadline is May 1.
