I had one of the most amazing weekends that I have had in a long time. As much fun as I had…I’m also not sure that I could do it too often. Haha, I’m super tired. Man I’m getting old!
Anywho – I started the weekend by driving to the Pittsburgh area for a Toby Keith AND Trace Adkins concert with my friend Kathryn. Honestly, I have a crush on both of those tall, deep-voiced singers and it was so great that I got to see both of them in the same night. The only thing I wish I would have thought of before I decided to go was which day it was I would be attending said-concert. Yep. September 11th. Holy crap. I couldn’t have had more pro-America and anti-terrorist crap shoved down my throat in one evening than I did yesterday. I mean…I love my country just as much as the next guy, but sometimes there needs to be a line drawn. (Just sayin’!)
This picture is probably one of the coolest ones that I’ve taken in a long time. It’s something about the flash and the sea of people… Who knows, if nobody else likes it – at least I think it’s cool. Haha.
The second part of my weekend events was the WVU vs. East Carolina football game. We were BLESSED with some great relatives that were able to hook us up with some tickets….as well as being able to hang out with the Gerkins and McKinleys during the tailgating portion of the lead-up events. Of course, we won AGAIN and this game was actually a little bit bigger of a win for us because ECU beat us last year and we were out for revenge this time. After an incredibly shaky start, the Mountaineers got their act together and we came through with a victory. Woohoo! Go gold and blue!!
And now, I’ll hopefully be getting a good night’s sleep so I can spend my entire Sunday studying for the grueling week I’ll be having at school. If anybody wants to volunteer to attend classes for me, I would REALLY appreciate it.
