Welcome, Week 15

Mar 3, 2010

So apparently the only thing I know how to do anymore is put pictures of myself on here and talk about babies. Whoops. Although…I’m pretty sure that all I did during the time leading up to the wedding was talk about weddings. So…..trends don’t change. We are in the beginning of week fifteen and are constantly wondering where time is going – in five weeks we will be halfway there. How is that possible?Week 15 - 2010.03.02

According to my “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” book, the baby is now about the size of a naval orange and it’s arms and legs are flying around like crazy. Unfortunately I cannot feel any kicking yet but pretty much every day I lie still and try and feel any kind of movement. So far, no luck. Give it a couple more weeks and then I’ll begin getting really impatient about kicking babies. 🙂

We are eagerly awaiting Springs arrival in Wheeling, as I’m sure everyone else in the US is. I am seriously sick and tired of snow and am hoping that we get to see green, green grass soon. Every day the snow piles seem to get a little smaller around our house but the piles are still pretty substantial so I don’t know if I can really start to get excited yet. SPRING, where are you??!!

Another thing we are excited about is our up-coming visit to Chicago. On Wednesday we will be making the drive to see the coolest brother a girl could ask for. Hopefully he’ll be excited to see me as well. 🙂 I know he had a semi-rough day yesterday and it KILLS me when I’m not there to help cheer him up but I was really thankful that Dad & Ronette were by his side. I believe that they’re going back this weekend, Aunt Vicki & Uncle Bob will be there early next week, followed by Bennett, me, Sierra and Mom. Billy won’t be alone until April 11 – and by then he’ll be begging for some solidarity. Haha.

Again, I’m reminding everyone to help support our Light the Night walk this year. We’ve got until April 14 to raise another $150 to hit this year’s goal. Just click the link on the sidebar of this webpage and it will bring you to our donation site. Thanks to those who have donated already. Also – for those of you who don’t have the ability to make a monetary donation, you should go to www.lightthenight.org and see if there is any way you can donate your valuable time to those fighting blood cancers. Every little bit of support helps!
