Bennett is taking an astronomy class right now at West Liberty and got to go on a field trip over the weekend to Green Bank, WV. It’s about five hours south of Wheeling and has a telescope down there that covers 2-acres of land. Holy crap. That’s a big telescope! Unfortunately, he didn’t get to play with that one. He did, however, get to use a 40-foot telescope that allowed him to view hydrogen gases making up part of a spiral arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. Nerd stuff…but cool nerd stuff.
I missed him all weekend but Bennett seemed to have a lot of fun down there. (He’s never allowed to leave me again, though.)
Oh….and here’s the latest picture of my belly. Let me tell you, I’ve really started to show!
I never thought I’d be one of those girls that would give into the temptations of maternity clothes – but I have. Most of my clothes have been forgiving enough but my jeans haven’t been. Jeans just don’t stretch like I wish they would. Who knew? So I went shopping the other day and found a couple of pairs of maternity jeans that I don’t look horrible in. And let me tell you what! I LOVE maternity jeans. LOVE them! Seriously…why haven’t I been wearing them my entire life? I think Bennett might have to hide them from me once little Louis is here. Or do some sort of intervention.
Oh boy. I’ve become a crazy pregnant person and we’ve still got four months ahead of us. Say a little prayer for us.
I'm totally with you on the maternity jeans. The world would be a kinder, gentler place…
I loved my maternity jeans as well. As far as tops though, I bought a few and wore them out. Not something I needed to keep forever. (And since we lived in the desert and I worked at a mine, simple t's worked best pregnant or not!) The jeans/shorts though…. You'll wear for a few months after baby comes, even if you get your figure back immediatly!! Comfy!
