Go McKinley, go!

May 12, 2010

As of yet, we haven’t received the results of today’s primary vote…but we are eagerly waiting.  I think if I checked the blood pressure of any of the McKinleys here, they’d be off the charts. :)  Everyone is just really eager to discover if the highs and lows of the last 17 weeks have paid off.  I’m just asking everyone to keep their fingers crossed for David and the rest of the family.  McKinley for Congress!!  (As soon as we hear what the results are, I’ll be sure to post something on here.)

Also, we’ve walked (eased?) into Week 25 of the pregnancy.  That gives us 15 more weeks….if Louis decides to come on time.  If you ask my mother, she’ll probably tell you that I deserve to have him arrive late because I was born an entire month after my due date.  Even the doctor was on vacation!  Mom’s probably seeking some sort of revenge and has made some sort of arrangement with the little guy already, haha.  Let’s hope not!Week 25 - 2010.05.11

I never realize how big I’m getting until I try and put one some of my pre-pregnancy pants.  It’s ridiculous that I can’t even pretend to zip or button any of them anymore.  I can’t even really fit my belly into my fat pants (from before I lost weight).  Looks like I’m going to have to continue to wear dresses and skirts for the next 3 1/2 months…the weather hasn’t been incredibly cooperative for my need to be bare legged.  Mother Nature, come on!  I feel like I’ve been good to you lately!  Return the favor, woman!
