31 weeks and my so-called bump is more like a mountain.
We’ve got nine-ish more weeks ahead of us and I’m starting to get to the point where I hope this pregnancy is quickly ending. A full night’s sleep is becoming harder and harder to achieve because of discomfort and plenty of pregnancy symptoms. I also think I’m starting to waddle. People keep telling me that I “look great” but I keep wondering if they’re just taking pity on me because they can obviously see how huge I’m getting. Haha. It’s just a big pity party for Katy. (I’m just thankful that we have working air conditioning in our house, car and the workplace. The weather is starting to get cruel around here and humidity is not my friend.)
Bennett has been such a trooper through everything. He rubs my swollen feet, helps me off of the couch without laughing, comforts me when I’ve woken in the middle of the night and has a special glow whenever we talk about Louis. I can’t wait until I get to see him holding his son for the first time. It will probably be the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.
