What a nice little weekend!

Jun 12, 2011

I’m going to have to say that Bennett, Louis and I had a really nice weekend. 🙂

Saturday was pretty awesome…mostly because it was refreshing to get out of the house and enjoy what Wheeling had to offer.  We went to the Farmer’s Market for the second week in a row.  As much as I’d like to say that we attended for locally grown fruits and vegetables, we were really on a mission to get another pepperoni roll.  Oh my goodness.  One of the vendors there seriously has the BEST pepperoni roll I’ve ever eaten.  EVER.

Oglebay was having an event called the ‘Secret Kitchens Tour’ and although we didn’t go and see any of the kitchens, we went to see what the vendors had at the Oglebay Mansion.  The coolest thing there?  The alpacas!

They were too cute!  And, I even bought a couple of skeins of alpaca yarn from the local farmers that raise them.  I think that’s super neat.  (Does anybody else notice how big Bennett’s smile is in the picture?  I’m pretty sure he was making fun of me right before I snapped it.)

All of the excitement really wore the two youngest boys in our household out.  Haha.  I absolutely love this picture.  You’d never know that George Michael avoids getting too close to Louis – he looks pretty comfortable with him!

Maybe I’m on a bit of a photo-overshare moment right now, but so be it.  The picture of Louis with bubbles on his face was a result of someone splashing during his bubble bath.  Hehe.

The weekend ended by having Mary & David over for some burgers and other grilled delicious foods on the porch.  So all in all, I’d say that we had a wonderful weekend.  Too bad that it’s back to work tomorrow.  Ugh.
