Fabulous Jewelry | “I Made It” Monday

Jul 26, 2011

***I have to apologize for this being published a day late.  This time it wasn’t my fault (I swear)!  I couldn’t get blogger to post this for some reason or another.***

I’m really pleased to be sharing with you some amazing pieces made by a really great friend of mine.  Ashley was a bridesmaid in my wedding, I was a bridesmaid in hers and we’ve been great friends for around seven years now.  Basically, I find Ashley to be amazing and am so proud of her for this new hobby that she’s started.  It’s great that she’s really taken to a craft such as jewelry making because I’ve always considered Ash to be quite the fashion-ista.  (Maybe I can sweet talk her into making me something fabulous??)

Here are some of the pieces she’s completed:

Aren’t they gorgeous?  I think the coiled wire bracelet in the last picture is to-die-for.  Ugh.  I might be hitting her up sooner than I thought, haha.

I asked Ashley what she likes most about making jewelry and she told me this:

“I spend so much money on jewelry that could make myself…so I decided to start a new hobby!  I love that you can pair any colors together and create all kinds of combinations.  It’s fun to use your creativity!  I am just a beginner, but I can’t wait to do more, learn more and create more!”

(Sounds perfect to me!)  Thanks for sharing with us, Ashley!  I look forward to seeing what else you come up with in the future. 🙂
