Party Hats | “I Made It” Monday

Aug 29, 2011

I made it monday

So you might think this is cheating a bit but I don’t really care.  Haha.

I’m going to share with you a really fun addition to any event: Party Hats!!  Why would you ever go to a store and buy them when you can make your own at home?  They are super easy and super fun – trust me.

I’ve made them for the last two birthday parties that we’ve held at our house and even if they don’t stay on people’s heads the entire time, they are totally worth having around.

Here are some photos from a puppy themed birthday party that we had for my nephew’s 6th birthday.  Why puppy themed?  Because his parents are incredibly amazing and they got him a puppy for his birthday!  (Jealous!)

I posted another photo from my son’s birthday party but thought I’d share this one as well.  Thank goodness there are others with cameras!  🙂  These are two of my beautiful friends, Rachel & Becky, donning the ‘Out of This World’ themed party hats.  Fun, right?

Anyway, I thought that I would share the template with you so you can make your own!  This is my first attempt at sharing anything on the blog as a download, so if there are ANY hiccups, please let me know and I will attempt to get them corrected.

Basically, the best thing you could do is find the paper that you want your hats to be styled in, print the template on that paper, cut on the lines and away you go!

As always, if you are interested in being featured on “I Made It” Monday, please send me an email!!  Here’s how to get to me:

Thanks guys!
