Movember | Celebrating Men’s Health

Nov 2, 2011

MOVEMBER Sheild2011Want to help raise money for a cause AND a chance to win something from Katy’s Creations?!?!  I’ve got just the thing!

My husband has entered himself into an event during the month of November that is attempting to change the face of men’s health.  This month each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

You should know by now that I love helping out a cause when I can.  And because I can’t grow my own mo, my husband is doing the work for our family.

He has shaved his glorious facial hair and plans on growing the best mustache that he can grow.  Bennett needs your help though!!  Please donate to his efforts by following this link and giving what you can: http://mobro.co/Bmckinleywv

I have to admit that I’m a little nervous about the results.  I’ve never actually seen him with a mustache before and it should be interesting.  Hehe.  I’m just glad that we’ve already had our family photos taken this year!

And now to the best part: THE GIVEAWAY!

Starting this Saturday (November 5th), I will be giving away one of my super silly mustache mugs to those of you willing to donate money to Bennett’s cause.  Every dollar donated will be counted as an entry and I will be drawing a name from the donations every Saturday during the month of Movember!  That’s FOUR chances to win!  FOUR!!
