Happy Birthday, Billy Bob!

Jan 21, 2013

In honor of my big bro’s 30th (holy cow, are you really that old??) birthday, I thought I would fill our blog up with photos of Billy in his younger years.  What’s more fun than that??

You could say that big blue eyes and good looks run in the family.

Questionable hairstyles?  Now that’s totally a Billy thing.  I remember the day he came home from Vernon’s house with a perm.  Yes.  A perm.  It was R.I.D.I.C.U.L.O.U.S.  Quite a lovely memory though for the family to always make fun of him about.

I do miss his big ole’ Dumbo ears.  Billy was always so skinny and had the cutest big ears sticking out of either side of his head.  Eventually he grew into them, I promise.

Back in the day, he even enjoyed hunting and fishing with Dad.  Anymore?  Not so much.  Maybe that’s because he’s spending all of his time exploring the big city of Denver.  And perhaps being a brilliant student and working fulltime.

We can’t blame him for his style.  He was a child of the 80’s and 90’s.  But seriously – sweet track suit, bro.  And the underwear on the head?  Perfection!

This is a shot from Billy’s 1st birthday (a whopping 29 years ago to the date).  What a sweetie pie!  I couldn’t dig through all of my pictures but I *know* there is one with him post-cake and completely a mess.  Darn my searching skills right now.

But for real.  What is not to love about this face? 🙂

There are about a million more pictures I could share, but maybe I’ll end with these three.  I couldn’t have asked for a better brother growing up and I think Sierra would sha
re the same sentiments.  He was sometimes a pain in the ass but most of the time, he was totally awesome.

Happy Birthday, Billy Bob!!

We love you so much and wish we could be there to give you giant hugs.  Here’s to your next 30 years!  (Oh and…please be safe tonight.  You’re no spring chicken anymore, hehe.)
