Coffee Mug Exchange.

Dec 2, 2013

Last year, we had so much fun with a gift exchange via Handmade Escapade’s fans/friends/followers that I thought it might be fun to do it again.  But this time with a theme.  Enter: HE’s ‘I Like Big Mugs’ Coffee Mug Exchange.

2013-12-02 mug exchange

The sign-up period will only be open until the end of the day on Thursday, December 5th.  If I’d done this ahead of time, we would have so much more of a leniency but this is what we’ve got to work with.  After the sign-up period, I will randomly pair participants together and give them their exchange partner’s mailing and e-mail addresses.  You will have this information sent to the e-mail address you specified on December 6th (this Friday).

Participants have until December 20th (TWO WEEKS!) to mail their mugs to their partners.  PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU’RE CERTAIN YOU CAN HAVE YOUR MUG MAILED TO YOUR PARTNER BY DECEMBER 20TH!!

Want to join?  Send an email to: katy@handmadeescapade.com titled “Mug Exchange” with the information below:

  • An email address where you can be readily reached.
  • Your mailing address.
  • Whether or not you have a preference/religious affiliation that would require your partner to choose a mug that is non-denominational.  (We don’t want to send Christmas mugs to someone who doesn’t celebrate Christmas but wants to participate in the mug exchange!)

You may pick for your partner any mug in new condition, but please keep it family friendly!  And please use some common sense when packing these for shipping to ensure they don’t break en route to your partner. [Recycled wadded up plastic shopping bags make an effective and free packaging material.]

Enough people showed interest yesterday so I’m hoping the same will sign up before Thursday.  This will be so much fun!  I love getting mystery gifts in the mail!
