You guys. I am about to share my well kept secret recipe with you.
It is the staple item I make and bring with me to basically every cookout in the summer and the majority of the parties we throw at our house. People are always complimenting me on it and it’s one of the first things to get eaten up. Technically, it’s probably best in the summer. But it tastes good any time of year. Scouts honor.
It’s delicious. Super quick to make. And even better…it’s easy. Let’s do this.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. box tri-color rotini pasta
2 cups fresh broccoli (blanched)
1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup creamy Italian dressing
INSTRUCTIONS
— Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse cold.
— Combine all ingredients, toss together until evenly mixed.
— Add more Italian dressing, if a creamier consistency is desired.
— Refrigerate until needed.
I hope you try it. Beware: you will try and eat the entire bowl of goodness before you can serve it to anyone else. Enjoy!
This looks so pretty! Too bad I don't like broccoli.
I suppose you could leave out broccoli and substitute with a different veggie. But they are my favorite part because they soak up all of the dressing. 🙂 You're missing out!
