My Favs on Thursdays | No More Tangles

Jul 31, 2014

My FAVS on Thursdays is a weekly linkup with my girls Nicole and Meghan.  Play along and share with us your favorite thing(s) of the week!

I’ve recently signed up to be a part of the Influenster network, to see what it’s all about and maybe pick up some swag along the way.  I mean, really.  If they want to send me things to try out, I will absolutely test them and give my honest opinion.

I received my first box in the mail this week, which was geared toward Louis and his care.  I’m totally on board with testing out new toddler related items.  In our package was Johnson & Johnson’s “No More Tangles” leave-in conditioner, detangling spray and shampoo/conditioner.

These products get a thumbs up from the McKinley family.  Louis has had issues with sensitive skin in the past, starting from when he was a tiny little one.  Our pediatrician recommended we use Aveno products and that’s what we’ve always used.  I don’t know why we haven’t ventured out any further, we are kind of a brand loyal family.  If it works and we like it, we stick with it.  Forever.

We gave Louis a bath last night, using the No More Tangles shampoo/conditioner and I think it’s a keeper.  It smelled really good, but not in an overpowering way, and while Bennett was just rubbing the soap into Lou’s scalp, he commented that his hair already felt really soft.

After he got out of the bath, I put a small dab of the leave-in conditioner in his hair.  Louis was all about it.  He really likes anything that gets him a little extra pampering.  Spoiled boy.

J&J gets our stamp of approval on this one.  Thanks Influenster for my first VoxBox!  It’s a keeper!

“I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.  Although the products were free, my opinions are all my own.”
