My Favs on Thursdays | Pattern Lust

Aug 21, 2014

My FAVS on Thursdays is a weekly linkup with my girls Nicole and Meghan.  Play along and share with us your favorite thing(s) of the week!

Sewing for Louis has become a super fun thing.  Well…sewing in general has been really fun for me.  I love cutting into fabric and making it into something wearable/usable.  I seriously cannot get enough of it.  I need to stop buying patterns until I have time to get to the ones I already have…but my arsenal of things I can make is growing by the day.

These four patterns can all be found on Etsy and are all an instant download.  I love instant downloads because I’m a girl of the 21st century and I want it NOW.  I can’t wait for a paper pattern to make it to me.  No siree bob!

Now that fall is approaching, I’m getting all obsessed with hats and warmer weather clothes that I can make for the Bug.  I’ve been obsessed with the idea of making Toms-like shoes for him (and myself!!) for a while now.  How freaking cool would that be?!

If you make Louis those faux toms, you HAVE to make him to an ootd post. It would be one of his great moments of childhood.
