Loving. The fact that Louis’ school has amazing activities for the kiddo. At all times. But especially during the holidays. Forgive me but this is my first child…therefore my first time experiencing the awesomeness of holiday concerts and other fun stuff. So it’s all way more exciting than it probably is to a veteran school-aged child parent. We’ve had it all this week. Louis had his first “concert” on Monday. LOVED going to it. Wednesday was a pajama party. Seriously so much fun. And tomorrow his class is going to the movies to watch Annie. Yay!
Reading. Christmas stories. Well…at least Miss Stephanie was during class. We, as parents, were invited to attend the last little bit of their pajama party on Wednesday and sit in on some of the fun. I adore Lou’s school. Every single staff member is awesome and I love what they stand for. Who knew I’d be such a fan of private school?
Choosing. Which thing hanging all over the walls of the classroom was my favorite. It’s totally an impossible feat. The kicker was probably the back wall filled with gingerbread cookies that had pictures of each of the students in place of their heads. It was A-freaking-DORABLE.
Designing. Part of the fun was putting together snowmen with doilies and pieces of construction paper. If I had a higher level of patience for insane 3-4 year olds, I would totally be a preschool teacher JUST for the cutesy crafting element. I mean.
Wondering. What Louis bought for us as his special gifts. The school had a “Santa’s Workshop” where we got to send in a list of family members and $2 per name…and Louis got to shop for us from whatever randomness they had available. I am so excited to see what is in our bags. We had him buy something special for all of the grandparents and Momma and Daddy. I thought he’d love being able to gift us with someone he picked out himself. I’m sure it’ll be my favorite gift. Hand selected by the Lou-dog.
Linking up for this week’s “Currently” with Harvesting Kale + Ot and Et.
This all sounds like so much fun! I miss the days when my older two were in elementary school and made such lovable projects.
So sweet! Otto made us a wreath and it's officially a "year round" wreath because I want to look at it every day. Love the gifts of the heart that they work so hard on. xo
I have an entire wall in my studio dedicated to Louis' designs. It's overwhelmingly full…I just can't bring myself to take anything down. I love them all so much.
