Everything is Awesome :: Free Printable

Jul 1, 2015

Are you tired of me sharing my hand lettering projects yet?  I’ve been testing out different types of pens and markers, to see what suits me the best.  I haven’t found “the one” yet but I’m getting closer.  Who knew there were so many out there?  Sheesh!

Louis and Bennett are heading to the movies this morning to see The Lego Movie, as part of the free matinees that they offer kiddos in the summer.  We’ve seen this movie plenty of times now, but it’s still fun to watch with friends, movie theater popcorn (ie: half the reason I go to the movies willingly) and it gets him out of the house during all of this ridiculous rain we’ve been having.

We LOOOOOOVE Legos in this household.  In fact, Louis’ birthday party is going to be Lego themed.  Stoked.  I’m excited to play with the primary colors and theme the crap out of is par-tay.  And possibly play “Everything is Awesome” on repeat, just for fun / torture.  It’s seriously the world’s catchiest song.

So here’s a little sketch of the world’s catchiest song for the taking!

I’m not sure if my lettering is getting “better”.  I just know that at least now I’m not having to think about it as much.  I’m all “this looks okay enough for me to move onto something else”.  So I guess that means I’m more comfortable and just need to keep plugging away at it.  Baby steps, you know?
