Wild & Wanderful

You Noble Land Mermaid! (A FREE Galentines Day Card!)

Let's pretend for a second that you didn't know I have a giant crush on Leslie Knope.  I've only binge watched the entire series like 203948098609823098 times at this point.  No joke.  I cry at Ben and Leslie's wedding EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.  I laugh hysterically at her "peace quilt" because that's exactly the kind of move I'd make.  And her overly enthusiastic nature for every single dorky thing is totally my jam.

Hmm.  Must be why I made THIS shirt.  But anywho.
One of my favorite things about Leslie is her undying love for the people around her, especially her entourage of fellow women.  She never gives up on them and she's always incredibly supportive...and pushy (but a good pushy).  And she especially LOOOOVES her some Ann.

Some of my favorite Leslie-to-Ann quotes:

“Ann, you are such a good friend, you’re a beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk-ox. Thank you, ox.”
“You’re Ann Perkins! Sperm that is worthy of your perfect eggs does not grow on trees.”
“Oh, Ann. You beautiful, naïve, sophisticated newborn baby.”

And of course, my ultimate favorite:

And because Leslie is the creator of the term "Galentine's Day", I felt it necessary to make a my Valentine's printable this year for the ladies.  To give to their bff's...after filling in the blank with your bestie's name, of course.

The card is formatted to print out on a letter sized piece of paper, and then trim down to a (folded) 5x7 card.  To then hand off to your best gal pal.  You know....YOUR poetic and noble land mermaid.

Just click on the image above and it'll take you to the high resolution download.  It would tickle me pink if you shared your printed card with me!!  Either email me (katy@handmadeescapade.com) or tag me on Instagram @mckinleykaty so I can see that my beloved Leslie Knope quote is in use.

Happy Galentine's Day, lovelies!
