Sunday Lately :: Week 58

Sunday LatelyKaty McKinleyComment

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe (which is being fearlessly lead by Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We'd love if you could join us!

This week's themes: Updating, Remembering, Needing, Wearing, Being.

Updating. My website.  Still.  It's taking a million years.  Let's not talk about it right now.

Remembering. What it's like to have younger kids with you while traveling.  I am writing this from Indianapolis, in a hotel room that I'm sharing with my Momma and sister, and our three kiddos.  Louis is five and out of the stage in life where he needs me for everything.  At least not like a 2-year old does.  And especially not like a four-month old.  The bonus is that all three kids with us are incredibly well behaved and well tempered and it's not really that much work.  Whew.

Needing. To sit down and schedule out February.  Just so I can stay on top of it.  We've got a crazy month ahead of us, and it's mostly involving photography work.  Why is the shortest month the busiest?

Wearing. A big smile on my face.  We've had such a great weekend.  Indianapolis has treated us well.

Being. Pretty lucky.  Louis has always been such an amazing travel partner.  His first hotel stay was while he was pretty teeny, for when we went to DC when his Papa was sworn in the first time around.  And since then, we've gone everywhere with him and flown multiple times with him.  And he's always been such a trooper and full of excitement over his new experiences.  I understand not all kids are this easy.  But Louis is and that's part of what makes him so damn awesome.
