Wild & Wanderful

Laughter is the best medicine.

Our little bug is growing up right before our very eyes.  Sometimes it takes me a second to catch my breath because I look at him and he looks like a little boy, instead of a baby.  Ugh.  Is this how it’s always going to be?  He’s just going to continue to grow and change and develop and I won’t be able to do anything to stop it?

We were having dinner with Mary the other night (because she needed some Louis time) and we got to experience Louis’ new belly laugh.  It was the first time we’d ever seen anything like it!  For some reason, he just thought Grandma Mary was the most hilarious person he’d ever come across.  Sometimes she was making faces or saying something to get him to giggle, but there were other times in which she wasn’t even looking at him and he was still cracking up.

Thank goodness for modern technology sometimes, right?  I whipped out my iPhone and was able to capture this awesome ‘first’ of Louis’.  It was about twenty minutes of Louis laughing and causing us three witnesses to laugh along with him.  Baby laughter is just so pure and honest.  And refreshing.
