I haven’t posted on this blog since January. Tomorrow is officially March…which makes me kind of a pathetic blogger. As soon as I get my head back on straight and ‘Caps for Chemo’ orders have been taken care of, I will be back. I promise.
As of late, I’ve been dabbling in the world of digital designs. Well…I guess you could say that I’ve been doing that for a while now. But I guess it’s starting to take a whole new direction. First of all, if you haven’t visited my Katy’s Gone Digital store yet: DO IT!! I’ve made a few templates for photographers to be able to use as attachments for their clients. Here’s the link: www.katysgonedigital.etsy.com
It’s not just for photographers either! I’ve made a few ‘Save the Dates’, Christmas cards and 1st birthday invitations for some of my friends (and my husband’s photography clients). When my hands aren’t busy crocheting, they are busy working up some computerized versions of my creativity.
I shared the above photo on my Facebook page a while back, but this is one of the designs I made for a high school buddy of mine. She’s getting hitched to her sweetheart this September and I had the honor of making the “Save the Date” cards that went out to her family and friends. It’s pretty special that people like my work enough to share it with others. Especially when it comes to something as big as your wedding!!
I’ve also done a few logo designs for some of my friends. You’ve probably heard me gush about Kayla (Kayla’s Creative Collection) before. She’s such a sweetheart and has such a great eye for accessories. I created her a logo:
And a new cover photo for the newly launched Timeline on Facebook for business pages:
Do you love them like I do? It’s fun and cheerful and sweet. Just like Kayla. :)
The next person I created a logo for was the newest up and coming photographer extraordinaire in Fairmont, WV. Kuirsta and I were also high school buddies back in Michigan…and somehow we both ended up in West Virginia. Strange, huh?
You can find her work here: Kuirsta Marie Photography on Facebook.
So there you have it. Just a little show-and-tell of my new adventures in creating. If you have anything you think I might be able to make for you, just let me know. I’m all for a new challenge!! Email me: email@example.com
