My name is Katy.  I am 28-years old and I still love NSync.  Maybe I don’t listen to them as much (besides their Christmas album this time of year!) and I’ve stopped cutting pictures of them out of magazines and collaging them all over everything I own but they still hold a special place in my heart.  This is the only picture I could pull from my old photos related to my love for the swoon-worthy boys.  Circa 1997??  I’m not sure but it’s some time in middle school.

We are taking Louis to his first concert on Thursday.  Get this: The Fresh Beat Band.  AND backstage passes.  It is going to be so much fun!  For him…and for us parents.  We get to meet the cast and take pictures with them after the concert and I’m pretty stoked.  Louis has watched this show for a couple of years now and we thought this would be the first and last opportunity for us to take him to this particular concert.  STOKED.

I was trying to brainstorm a shirt to make him for the event.  And by doing so and talking about my obsession with the NSync Christmas album…I couldn’t stop myself.  I just couldn’t.  I should probably apologize to Bennett.  Sometimes I just need to make something to get it out of my system.  So I did.

I didn’t even ask Bennett to take these photos for me because I didn’t want to be harassed and eye-rolled by him the whole time.  Which is exactly what would have happened.  So pardon my inability to choose a proper background or be a fabulous blogging selfie photographer.  Maybe in due time.  For now, you’re going to have to enjoy the mess of ornaments strewn about my craft room for ambience…due to my life currently being inundated with Christmas orders.

Oh.  And Justin, JC, Chris, Joey and Lance?  Eat your heart out boys.

I should probably be ashamed.  I’m just not.

I am a product of 90’s music.  It’s really the last time I actually listened to pop radio stations.  I’m so far out of the pop culture scene of music anymore that I couldn’t even sing one line from songs by Katy Perry or Kesha or people like that…assuming that those artists are even current.  Unless they’re on a commercial, I haven’t the slightest idea that those songs exist.  But the 90’s?  Awww snap.

I did put a t-shirt version of this up in my shop for sale.  In case there are any other crazy people out there like me that want to relive the glory days of the best boy band ever.  (Go home, Backstreet Boys.  You’ll never make it!)  Find it HERE if you dare.
