There will come a day when you won’t ask me to help you with things. You won’t crawl up on my lap. You won’t willingly give me kisses…much less kisses in public. You won’t hold my hand. You simply won’t need me like you need me now.
So when you look at me while I’m busy and in the middle of getting orders together on a Sunday morning and say, “Momma, read me a story?”, I will absolutely drop everything and do just that.
