Run the Ball! Score the Points!

Run the Ball! Score the Points!

I used to be the best WVU fan ever.  EVER.  Never missed a game, always knew the players and the current season standings, and all of that good stuff.  And then we had a baby and started our own businesses and life got in the way…and I’m officially the worst sports fan ever.

I’m trying to be better this year, Mountaineers.  I swear I am.
But when I decided that this week’s Feature Friday theme over at Thread & Grain would be football….I needed a shirt that represented my poor sports fan-ing abilities.

What?  Another P4P pattern release day?  Oh my stars!
I think you’re going to be happy with this one too, friends…because it’s a WOVEN dolman pattern.  Which means it’s quick, easy, and you can use your woven apparel fabrics that you’ve been hoarding without a plan for it.  Let’s talk about the new Brunch Blouse!

BLUE, GOLD + PLAID

BLUE, GOLD + PLAID

I have three letters for you: W. V. U. When Sara (from RP Custom Fabrics) showed us her tartans that she was running, I could not volunteer fast enough for the blue and gold version.  Seriously though.  If you live in West Virginia, you can't have enough blue and gold...

Witchy-Poo V2.

Witchy-Poo V2.

My Mom is 100% to blame for my love of Halloween.  She brought that love way back when we were kids.  The decorations, the creative costumes, the over the top kitschy element of it…everything is fabulous.  When we were growing up, Momma used to dress up in full character of a witch and visit our classrooms, to create a “witches brew” show for everyone.

First Day of 1st Grade!

Stop the presses.  We have a first grader in our house.  I kind of can’t handle life right now.  Seriously why did I have a baby in August?  Turning a year older AND going back to school guts me every single year.  I’m not sure I can get used to it!

Happy Birthday, Louis!

Happy Birthday, Louis!

SEVEN YEARS OLD.

Seven.  How? And why?  And how?
I don’t even understand how time has flown with this little man…but somehow we are here, celebrating his 7th birthday.

Quality People Never Fear Equality | FREE Cut File!

Whenever something big happens and I start to feel super sad / down / helpless, it always helps me to create something that has a positive message to it.  It might sound silly, but forcing myself to find a positive message during a less-than-positive time makes me a little more hopeful.  I wish I didn’t ever feel the need to make these things.  But here we are again.
