Sunday Lately :: Week 36

Sep 6, 2015

I have been a seeeeeeerious blogging slacker this week.  But hey!  I’ve got this post ready to rock, so I get some credit, right?  Don’t forget to link up with us and share what’s happening with you lately!

This week’s prompts: Planning, Loving, Reading, Wishing, Feeling

Planning. Some crazy awesome products for the fall/winter/holiday seasons that are rapidly approaching.  One of said products is launching this week for sure.  And I think you might pee your pants in excitement when you see it.  (Even if you don’t pee your pants, can you at least share the excitement with me?  Kthanks.)

Loving. All of the nerdery that hit retail shelves on Force Friday.  Bennett,  Louis and I even were super nerds and dressed in Star Wars clothes to go look at Star Wars things.  Isn’t the old saying, “Families that nerd together stay together”?  No?  Well it should be.

Reading. A few new blogs that quickly made their way onto my Bloglovin’ feed.  My favorite at the moment is anything by Kyema via The Art of Oh.  Girlfriend is always cracking me up with her writing style, even when she’s just showing us a new piece of clothing she’s sewn.  It’s seriously the best read for me because she has such a fun tone.  And she’s adorable.  So that helps.

Wishing. I could have been at the Mountaineer Stadium for some tailgating at last night’s season opener.  Admittedly, we haven’t been the greatest WVU football fans the last few years.  I mean, we haven’t even been okay fans for them.  Watching a football game requires sitting down for several hours and not doing much else.  And we just don’t seem to have the time for that kind of commitment right now.  Maybe one day we will be the super fans of yesteryear.  BUT, I still watched the game, in pieces.  Yay for a win!  And I also had the family in WVU clothes.  So we are totally supportive, just not like we used to be.

Feeling. Anxious.  I know my big busy season is coming.  I know it’s only September…but I can feel it rapidly approaching.  And I want to be ready to kick some ass this winter.  So I’ve been working on getting bulk supplies in early and I will be starting to make 200 (!!) ornaments and have them ready for shipping this week and next.  Yikes.  Goodbye summer, hello insanity.  #bringit

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
