Today’s themes: Completing, Visiting, Repeating, Applauding, Scheduling

Completing. The Meet Me in the Alley project today, officially.  Bennett has scheduled an event and is asking for as many people as possible to squish into the alley, for one big group shot.  I have no idea how many people to expect, but I’m hoping it is a great turnout.  What better way to say goodbye to the alley than to make a big spectacle about it.

Visiting. With some girlfriends on Friday for a Girl’s Night Out.  It was crazy fun.  Three married women out on the town isn’t something we experience often.  In fact, it’s something I’ve experienced never.  We went out for dinner and drinks, followed by listening to a band (and drinks) and then hit up the bar for more dancing (and drinks).  Oh.  And Saturday?  Yeah, I was a waste of space and terribly hungover.  But guess what?  WORTH IT.

Repeating.  My fabric buying habits from last year and ordering in a bunch of buffalo plaid knits.  So excited to make something for Bennett, Louis and me with them.  EEK!  Who doesn’t love a good plaid?

Applauding.  Louis for being so crazy grown up and responsible lately.  Well, for a five year old.  He’s been taking care of that new fish of his so well.  I know it’s just a fish.  But it’s HIS fish.  And Blue is pretty much the first thing he attends to in the morning, as soon as he wakes up.  And the last thing he does before going to bed.  It’s awesome to see Louis take charge.

Scheduling.  Some time for planning this week.  I’ve got a lot coming up.  My Top Stitcher sew-off is coming up super soon.  And I’ve got a booth going up at the Wheeling Farmers Market next Saturday.  Not to mention Halloween costumes that haven’t been sketched out and figured out yet.  So…..lots of busy work.  But I love busy work.  So I’ll make it happen (after I freak out a little bit in the meantime.)

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
