Sunday Lately :: Week 96

Oct 30, 2016

Angelica, Meaghan, Nicole, and myself. We e-hang out every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the last week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Planning, Loving, Reading, Wishing, Feeling.

Planning. To survive the busiest week ever.  We’ve got so much happening!  Patterns for Pirates is rounding out a set of THREE patterns, the actual Dancing With the Ohio Valley Stars show is on Saturday so there will be a lot of rehearsal and things for it, and there’s that whole “I run a business and should be kicking ass at that right now” thing too.  Haha.

Loving. That my friends and family haven’t left me yet….because I feel like all I’ve been posting has been DWTOVS things.  And forcing them to take selfies with me.  Hey!  I’m having fun with it and it’s been an exciting five weeks!

Reading. Nothing.  Damnit I hate this prompt because it makes me feel bad.  I did read my very first comic the other day!  I usually read them through Bennett…as in, he reads them and recaps them for me and I absorb the stories that way.  He’s been bugging me to read one, so I picked up the first Jessica Jones.  It was good….but now I’m mad because I have so many questions and zero answers.

Wishing. I could share what my plans are with this fabulous fabric from Mabel Madison.  OH MY GOD it’s such a fun print.  And the fabric is deliciously soft.  Hint: I’m wearing it on Saturday for the pre and post show parties.  It’s going to be fun!!

Feeling. Like the luckiest girl in the world.  One of my online friends the other day said that I have “an incredibly interesting life”.  I never see it that way…but I suppose it’s true.  We live in a vibrant community, and are friends with so many amazing people, through which we have a lot of fun and different opportunities.  Like taking alley photos of over 1,000 people.  And making 18-foot tutus for steel elephants.  And Dancing With the Ohio Valley Stars.  And everything else we get ourselves into.  We are lucky to be offered these opportunities all the time!

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
