This week’s themes: Smelling, Wanting, Reminiscing, Memorizing, Completing.

Smelling. The sweet, sweet flowers that Bennett got me for our prom outing.  YOU GUYS.  He gave me a corsage and asked me if I would be his prom date.  Swoon.

Wanting. To start planning WYP Prom 2018 already.  Seriously.  WHAT A NIGHT!  We had the best turnout and the dance floor was never empty.  I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one we had.  Hooray for our first community event!

Reminiscing. About last night.  Over and over again.  Haha….okay, if you haven’t picked up on the trend yet, this entire SL is going to be about prom.  #sorrynotsorry 

Memorizing. The guest list, so I can try and put faces with names of ticket-buyers.  We had such a fun mix of people last night…and a TON of people I’d never seen before.  Which is amazing.  Because the Wheeling Young Preservationists is an all-inclusive group.  We want everyone to join us and get involved.  And we want them all to prom with us.  It was neat to see people who had no connection directly to us, who got down and boogied along with the rest of the crew!

Completing. Our first ever community event.  Well, we’ve attended about a million.  But this is the first one I’ve ever planned.  I was the head of the committee…and we made this entire night happen from start to finish, with the Party Planning Committee at my side the whole way.  (Can you tell I’m super happy with the results of prom??)
