Sunday Lately :: Week 123

Sunday LatelyKaty McKinleyComment

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We'd love if you could join us!

This week's themes: Adoring, Quoting, Dreaming, Designing, Using

Adoring. My team of girls over at Thread & Grain.  Seriously.  They are so awesome and I love what they make to help promo my designs.  It's great to have a brain trust in them, so I can bounce ideas off of more than just Bennett.  Who is great, don't get me wrong.  But I think it's nice to have other opinions too.  Thanks for being fabulous, girls!!

Quoting. All the Star Wars.  And any sound bite I can remember from Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2.  Because this week was for the nerds (including a Free Comic Book Day trip to two stores)!  And I loved it.

Dreaming. Of an empty closet.  I plan on going through all of my me-made clothes and narrowing my closet down to only the things I find myself wearing over and over.  The rest?  I just might be selling them off at a cheapie price.  I just want them to be loved by someone, and not sent to a second-hand store to hang around until someone stumbles across it.  I literally can name all of the fabrics and patterns and when I put each piece together.  So getting rid of them hurts my heart a little.  But it needs to be done.

Designing. New stuff for Thread & Grain.  And (TOP SECRET) a little something for Patterns for Pirates.  You'll see all of them soon enough.  Promise.

Using. Me Made May as an excuse to take a million outfit selfies.  Here are the first seven days of the month in me-made clothes!  (Confession: I wear me-made every day anyway.  But it's fun to play along and document it.)
