Woohoo!! It is reveal day for this month’s Fabric for Pirates and, per my usual, I’m super excited to share what I made with the delicious fabric we sent out to everyone!

Here are the specifics of the fabric we sent this month:

Material: 88%POLY 9%RAYON 3%SPANDEX

Normally, you wouldn’t find me rushing to throw on anything in this color scheme.  The color is technically called “pumpkin” and though I’m a big fan of all things pumpkin…it doesn’t necessarily go with my skin tone and coloring.  Generally it washes me out and makes me look sick.

But y’all.  I’m obsessed with this new Sweater Weather top I made for myself.  O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D.

If I may confess, this is the exact same fabric (just in a different color scheme) of THIS Sweater Weather top I made…..and I legit just recreated it in a new color.  I wore my purple version so often last winter that I felt I needed to make a duplicate of it in pumpkin.

Honestly though…when I used to shop for myself and I found a top I liked, I’d buy it in multiple colorways.  So this is the same thing.  Just the sewing version of it.  Right?  RIGHT??

Apparently I was feeling like such an Autumnal Princess that I felt it necessary to take photos holding a leaf.  And cuddling a leaf.  It’s fine if you want to tease me about it, I’m sharing these photos for just that reason.  My ridiculous level of leaf + sweater excitement needs to be put out into the universe.  Maybe so it doesn’t happen again, and maybe so it does.  Either way.
