It is with incredible levels of excitement that I share some thrilling news and updates about the future of Wild+Wanderful. For over ten years now, you’ve come along with me through countless creative endeavors, from sewing and crocheting to DIY projects and beyond.

And today, I’m ready to launch a new stage of Wild+Wanderful, and I’m jazzed to have you with me every step of the way.

First and foremost, I’m overjoyed to introduce Chaney Mobley as the newest (and first ever) addition to the team!

Wild+Wanderful, for the most part, has been a one-woman show this entire time (don’t tell my husband I said that). So it pleases me to share that my little blog that could is growing up!

Chaney is not just joining me; she’s becoming a full-blown partner…in both crime and craftiness. Together, we’re blending our passions for making and fostering a vibrant community of creators. Chaney’s innovative spirit and commitment to creativity make her the perfect co-pilot as we venture into uncharted territories.

A little bit about Chaney:

Chaney joins us from the dry side of Washington State, also known as Eastern Washington. She and her husband Stuart have four kiddos, KatieJo, Samuel, Phillip, and Maija, along with one AMAZING daughter-in-law Twilight.

 

Chaney has making in her blood. She grew up watching her mom create and sew amazing gifts and clothing. In middle school Chaney decided to take the plunge into sewing. Her attempts were not exactly masterpieces, she took Bob Ross’s advice and viewed them as “happy little Accidents.”

 

Eventually she began sewing for her family, matching outfits were her jam. That led to teaching sewing to 3rd to 12th grade. And, working for a craft and sewing pattern company.

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE!! We are opening a new division of Wild+Wanderful! It’s called MakerSpace and you need to brace yourself for the awesomeness.

Together, we are proud to unveil MakerSpace, the latest evolution of Wild+Wanderful. MakerSpace is not just a space; it’s a mission to cultivate an innovative Community where hands-on learning, engaging workshops, and unforgettable experiences come to life. This new division is dedicated to bringing together industry leaders, pattern makers, small business owners, bloggers, and social media creators in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What should you expect at MakerSpace?

• Multi-Day Retreats: Dive deep into creativity with our diverse lineup of Retreats, featuring industry leaders and experts eager to share their knowledge and inspire your next masterpiece.
• Hands-On Learning: Whether you’re a seasoned Maker or just starting, our Classes offer something for everyone, designed to spark creativity, hone your skills and master your art.
• A Community of Creators: At the heart of MakerSpace is our CommunitySpace. This is a place to learn, share, and flourish among fellow Makers who share your passion and enthusiasm for making.

As Wild+Wanderful enters this new era, our commitment to inspiring and nurturing the creative spirit in all of us has never been stronger. We’re incredibly excited about what the future holds and can’t wait to explore this new creative territory together.
