Snack time… but make it cuddly!
I think these Goldfish Plushies are out-of-control adorable. I designed them after creating the Dino Nugget Plushies for Patterns for Pirates a couple of Christmases ago, and they might just be my new favorite quick make. They’d also make amazing booth fillers if you’re a handmade vendor heading into fall festivals, and they’re just as perfect for gifts. If you’re one of those super organized people getting a jump start on Christmas sewing, here’s a fun idea for you!

And okay, side note: I miss having a little one in the house whose number one snack request was always Goldfish crackers. Why are they so perfectly salted and addictive?? I might need to grab a box for my workday snack now.
A Little Backstory: This plushie was originally created during a MakerSpace Maker’s Retreat. That retreat was all about sewing for fun, trying new things, and just enjoying the process. While MakerSpace has since closed, I didn’t want this project to disappear along with it. These little fishies were too sweet not to share! Bringing them here to the blog feels like the perfect way to give them a new life—and to share a project that’s beginner-friendly, quick, and guaranteed to make you smile.
