Christmas is here!! Can you believe it?
The magic is truly alive with Louis and I intend to keep it that way with him. Or at least as long as we can. It’s a weird web of Santa-myths we’ve gotten ourselves into…but it’s also fun. What harm is it to believe in a little magic? We had Santa call us on my phone (thanks to Google’s Santa tracker goodness) and he told Louis that he needs to be better at eating his dinners but that he’s been a good boy this year. And he really has. Louis has always been such a great kiddo. Couldn’t ask for a better one, really.
Grandma helped him make some Reindeer Food with oatmeal, *magic* glitter and sprinkles. It was Lou’s own combination of things and he was very excited to spread it all around the front yard. Well. Kind of “all around”. More like pouring the box out in a concentrated spot. But hey. It’s his thing, let Louis do what works best for his own reindeer beckoning tool.
And in our traditional ways, we opened up one gift on Christmas Eve. Which was Christmas jammies of course! And then we took our traditional family photo in front of the tree. How could we resist it? (Thanks again, Old Navy! I love your Black Friday sales on jams that I can buy from the comfort of my computer.)
I can’t help but include these next two photos. I ran to get a wet wipe to clean our messy child’s face free from spaghetti. Louis and Bennett remained adorable in my absence.
Merry Christmas, friends!!
You guys are adorable!
Psh. We don't hold a candle to the elf jammies your kiddos were rocking!
