I love strong, funny, smart, feminine, sweet, kickass women. I’ve probably mentioned this five thousand times. Amy, Tina, Mindy and Zooey are basically my dream women in Hollywood right now. I would marry them all if I could. Or be their BFF’s. Or stalk them. Whichever.
Not only is Amy Poehler the actress one of my favorite people, so is her character on Parks and Recreation.
Basically everything Leslie Knope does is something I have/would do…except for the fact that I don’t work for the government. I am just as intense as her about some things and just as nerdy as her about everything else. I love Leslie Knope. (Lester Knoff?)
Much like my *NSync tshirt, I’ve had this on my mind for a long time and couldn’t help but make this. Because Leslie Knope truly is my Spirit Animal. And I might as well shout it from the rooftops….or my shirt.
Want one of your own? You’ve got it!
Head over to my shop and get one of your own: Leslie Knope is My Spirit Animal tee
(And maybe someday soon I will actually post something on this blog other than photos of me. Sorry!)
Haha! I know Nicole is definitely a Parks and Rec fan. I still haven't been able to get into it.
I just started watching Parks and Rec thanks to Netflix and zOMG I need this shirt! I read Yes Please before I watched P&R and I can totally see her influence on the show. Have you read Bossypants? It was fun to be let in to Tina's world, too.
I think the first season was hard to get into. But we wanted to love it because the cast and characters are so awesome. You should try it! I think you could love it.
Yes Please is on my list of books. I just finished reading Mindy Kailing's book (one of my other favorite awesome women) and am in the middle of Bossypants at the moment. I feel silly that all of my reads lately are books by actresses but they are seriously awesome women and I'm glad they lend their voices in these. I basically want to be best friends with all of them.
I have to pick up Mindy Kailing's book; she's probably the one I know the least about. I see no shame in your reading list; they're total rockstars and I'm glad they share themselves with us!
