Sunday Lately :: Week 149

Nov 5, 2017

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Treasuring, Chasing, Crushing, Yelling, Flowing.

Treasuring. Every second of last night’s fun.  We went to the Season 7 of Dancing with the Ohio Valley Stars, to watch some of our friends dance their hearts out on stage.  AND, our very best friends walked away with 1st and 2nd place trophies.  So it was ultra amazing.  (Today is also the 1-year anniversary of my DWTOVS experience!)

Chasing. Any extra minute that I can today.  Let’s just say that “a certain couple” went out and “danced/drank all night” in celebration of their friends’ wins…and said couple is exhausted and feeling it.  Haha.  Worth it.

Crushing. On my cute boy.  Seriously.  Why does he look this adorable and cool in pictures so naturally?  Apparently I need posing lessons from this Future DWTOVS Champion.

Yelling. Loudly enough last night that the ladies in front of me threw some dirty looks my way.  Sorry, not sorry gals.  I was proud of my besties up on stage and I wanted them to know it.  This former cheerleader is very good at “whooping” and making sure my voice carries.  I mean, they could have moved, right?

Flowing. Some design ideas.  At least getting them into a list, so I can start working on them.  The problem is that I get distracted easily and skip over the “need to do’s” and head straight for the “oooo I have a fun idea!” types.  Sigh.  One day I’ll get it together.  Today is not it.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

    The older I get, the harder it is to recover when we go out and go hard LOL… but it’s so worth it. If I’ve learned anything in my adult life (and this pregnancy and baby will no doubt reinforce it), it’s that certain people and things are worth the exhaustion.
