Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!
This week’s themes: Driving, Hugging, Hearing, Obsessing, Biting.
Driving. All over North Carolina for Turkey Week! We have been in Charlotte since Friday, will be heading to Asheboro tomorrow, and then spending the rest of our time at the beach in Ocean Isle. I’m not mad for a second that we got to kick off Thanksgiving with our first days in beer heaven with Bennett’s cousins. We haven’t gotten away for vacation in forever now, and this is the perfect way to spend our time.
Hugging. Bennett in excitement over all of the craft beers we have access to right now. Haha. Maybe that sounds worse than it is. But darn it, we are loving the little beer-tour Kerrie and Jason have been giving us. There are so many amazing breweries out here and the stores have a selection we would only dream of back in Wheeling. It’s like angels are constantly singing to us while we are here.
Hearing. A lot of latin-influenced songs on the radio right now and loving it. But it’s also making me want to ballroom dance again…I’m trying to come up with a way that Bennett and I can take classes together in the new year. I’d love to have an excuse to dance somewhere other than my living room every once in a while.
Obsessing. Over my custom-printed fabrics. They came in last week and I was SO EXCITED to make something with them. So far, I’ve just created a tee for myself and Louis…but poor Bennett will be taken care of once we get back from NC as well. (PS!! They’re open for preorder through today, in case you want to get in on it!)
Biting. Into allllll the foods that are bad for me. But I can’t help it. It’s Thanksgiving week! I’m trying to be good, but there are also so many things with bacon in them right now….heaven help me.
I did a lot of biting too!
We are supposed to forgive ourselves on Thanksgiving week, right?
