Embracing. The fact that I totally sucked in 2018. But also that the past is the past and 2019 can be my new beginning. I accepted a full time position at the a/e firm that I’ve been working at for the last ten years. I “quit” that job 4 years ago but had been working there on an as-needed basis, pulling only around 12 hours over a two week period at the most. So I went from a full time job at home, to two full time jobs….one at home and one in an office. It has literally rocked my world. I’m dropping the ball on everything, stressed beyond belief, having bouts of depression/anxiety, and not getting nearly enough sleep. I’m looking to make adjustments in the new year to correct this a little. Wish me luck!
Hugging. My boys pretty darn tight. Bennett and Louis are my saving grace and my backbone in most situations. I’m so thankful to have our little trio as tight knit as we are. It makes everything fall back into place most days.
Repeating. Goals that I’m committing to memory. Better budgeting, time management, and less trips to Starbucks are all part of it. (Yes, Starbucks. I have an addiction to their iced coffees and I’m bad at having some ready to pour in a glass to take with me in the mornings.) Those are all manageable goals! I don’t usually hate on a past year of my life, but I pretty much accepted the full time position in January, so it happens to be my 12-month marker. Onward and upward, right?

You & I both fell off the blogging bandwagon. Here’s hoping we’re able to stick to a better schedule. I love that photo of you & your boys.
