It’s My Turn to Take an Elfish :: FREE Schitt’s Creek / David Rose Inspired Silhouette + Cricut Cut Files!

Dec 16, 2020

Happy mid-December, Wanderful friends!  I totally had intentions of sharing this weeks ago, but I’ve been hit with the holiday to-do list and it got delayed a bit.  Without further ado, let me hook you up with my newest free digital cut file.  I think you’re going to LOVE it.

Or at least if you’re a Schitt’s Creek fan you’re going to love it.

This design is completely inspired by my Elf on the Shelf version of David Rose.  I’ve been anti-elf for years now, but caved.  Because 2020.  I got twelve straight days of elf-cosplaying costumes and then promptly fell off the elfing wagon.  Sounds about right.

I showed my friend Jen my idea for the elf and she said “YOU MUST MAKE THIS A CUT FILE OR I’LL CUT YOU.”  Okay, okay.  That’s not true.  A complete fabrication on my part.  So maybe she didn’t threaten me like that, but she did excitedly request a cut file.  Obviously I can’t disappoint Jen, can I?

Here you go, my lady.  I hope you make 10,000 things with this design on it!

In case you were wondering, which I’m sure you’re not but humor me here….I just started working remotely again.  We’ve been relatively safe in WV, with lower cases than really most places.  But lately it’s been getting super scary out there and our office is even starting to be affected.  I felt the walls closing in around me and I thought it would be best to bunker down at home for the time being.

I’m telling you this because, besides the safety element — let’s talk about the fact that I was able to finish this shirt, grab these photos, AND write up this blog post all during my lunch hour?  Remote work isn’t all bad now, is it?  Also, we just got a fresh layer of snow on the ground today and I thought it would make for a pretty backdrop.  (I’m a Michigan native but only a fan of snow when I have nowhere to go and there’s a zero chance of me driving in it.)

I hope everyone stays safe this holiday season.  Make good choices.  Celebrate via Zoom with your loved ones if you have to.  We are all in this together, wether we like it or not.

Without further ado, here’s a small gift from me to you.  Happy Holidays, everyone!  I hope you all have a chance to take an elfish / selfish sometime soon!

Hopefully you share what you’ve made with this file.  And even more hopefully, I hope you tag me #wildandwanderfulblog (I’m @wildandwanderfulblog on Instagram) so I can see!!  I love sharing in your joy of making!

The download is packaged as four file types:
SVG, DXF, PNG and PDF.

Please do not share the files, claim them as your own, or profit off of my design in any way.  They are for PERSONAL USE ONLY.
