IG-11 “Would Anyone Care for Some Tea?”

How FREAKING AMAZING are Wednesdays for Star Wars fans right now? Getting a double header of new episodes on Disney+ is absolutely the best thing that’s ever happened to my family. Not joking. The Mandalorian is back AND we’re still getting The Bad Batch…and to top that off, we just finished re-watching another round of Clone Wars. Holy cow is it a good time to be a fan, haha.

ANYWAY. I’ve had this design in draft mode since S2 of The Mandalorian and who knows why I never made it into a shirt…but today I did, y’all!

As always, the droids are my absolute favorite characters of the entire Star Wars universe. They just write them so incredibly well and make them the most badass, mischievous or endearing of whoever is on the screen. GAH. I’m obsessed. Anyway — in S1 when IG-11 becomes a “nurse droid”, it’s the ultimate best thing ever that happened to an assassin droid. And when he walked in and asked if anyone cared for some tea…I died. So good.

And so this design was born and I love it.

Of course, I made a tee just for this design. I whipped up a Basic Tee from Patterns for Pirates and then sublimated the design proudly onto the front. I’m obsessed.
