Sunday Lately :: Week 10

Mar 8, 2015

Sunday Lately: Week 10 is in full effect!  Don’t forget to link up along with us below!

This week’s themes: Completing, Visiting, Applauding, Repeating, Scheduling.

Completing.  Another week of crazy amounts of order and things involved with all of my online sales.  Not complaining.  I swear.  But’s it kept me super busy and I’m hoping that this week is one in which I can conquer my new workflow.

Visiting. This incredibly awesome trampoline park: Flight.  Apparently this is a trend that is sweeping the country and I’m more than happy to be a part of it.  Me.  Trendy.  For the first time ever.  Flight is a warehouse that is made up of a ton of trampolines.  That’s it.  You pay for the amount of time you want to be there and then just bounce your hearts out.  I wish you could see Louis’ face while he’s there.  It’s pure joy.  He loves it.  We do too!  It’s so much fun but also a really great cardio workout.  Bonus all around!

Applauding. Myself for attempting to get a little more organized.  My studio is a tiny room in our house and it easily gets filled with THINGS.  And I’m generally too busy to address said things.  I just shove them aside and hope I can get to them one day.  So I’ve finally bought some new shelving and am making attempts at getting my little space organized.  It’s hard.  I’m a creative.  Not an organizer.

Repeating. Some sewing patterns with new fabrics.  I am obviously in love with P4P patterns and continue to sew them up for myself.  I made a new shirt to wear out today that was a mashup of my two favorite shirt patterns: the Women’s raglan and the Layer Me Up shirt.  It’s basically perfection.  I love it.

Scheduling. A meeting with one of my best gal pals and forming a PPC (Party Planning Committee.)  I have a silly idea that is about to come to reality and I’m using backup from my best people to make it happen.  In a couple of weeks I can be a lot less vague about this.  Until then…something awesome is coming and I’m crazy excited about it.  So is everyone I’ve pitched the idea to so far.  I love that my friends are as dorky and weird as I am.  And they’re willing to participate in silly ideas that I come up with.  For real.  STOKED.

That’s all folks!  Happy Sunday!

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

    I can't wait to see what you are up to! I'm all about wanting to be on the inside of secrets, so I'm glad that people have been loving what you're bringing to the table. Best of luck getting back on top of things and organization. If you need a hand organizing, let me know! I love it (I took two hours the other night and reorganized my bathroom. Just because.)

    Also — Flight is the best!! I went there a few weeks ago and had a blast. Those pictures of you guys are too stink' adorable there!
