Sunday Lately :: Week 143

Sep 24, 2017

Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, which is fearlessly led by Angelica (Gardening in High Heels) and myself. We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds. We’d love if you could join us!

This week’s themes: Reaching, Gathering, Explaining, Supervising, Upgrading.

Reaching. Up as high as we can in our PawPaw trees and picking their fruit!  They are the ugliest fruits, but they’re SO sweet and grow all over our property.  Bennett is planning on brewing an IPA with them today, I hope it turns out well!

Gathering. The point in the month when I start to panic about Oglebayfest and being a vendor this year.  We have our booth assignment and wrote out a plan of the products we need to have with us.  BUT…most of it isn’t made yet.  And we are changing the setup of our booth.  So there’s a lot to be accomplished in the next two weeks.  Yikes.

Explaining. What Irish Road Bowling is to people.  We participated in my second year of road bowling, and put together a team for the event.  It’s SO MUCH FUN.  And I’m exhausted from a day of drinking, sunshine, laughing hysterically, and bowling.

Supervising. Some creative endeavors of Lou’s.  He’s decided that he wants to sell some of his art at our Oglebayfest booth, so he’s been drawing up a storm the last couple of days.  I’m thrilled and just hope that people will buy some of his work, to help booth his little entrepreneurial/artistic spirit.

Upgrading. Some people to our tester pool over at P4P this week!  We’ve been running a Top Tester contest all week long.  It’s been EXHAUSTING and a lot of work for Nicole and myself.  But I’m happy that today is the deadline for final images/submissions and we get to do only fun stuff and announcements after this.

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
