#familyofheroes

May 28, 2015

Here we are in the homestretch of Blogger, May I? and I failed to blog yesterday.  Darnit.  I was doing so well too!  Good thing AngelicaMeghan and plenty of others had my back yesterday.  Whomp whomp.  Today’s prompt: #get #hashtag #happy

We love to play pretend in this household.  Especially if it involves pretending to be a superhero of some sort. #asifthatwasntobvious  But it used to be a lot more often and much more to the extreme for Louis.  If you can remember back to a few years ago, kiddo was only ever wearing a cape and mask, and there was a short stint of him refusing to wear anything besides his Superman pjs.  #thosedamnjammies

So whenever Louis decides to bust out a cape, it’s fun and a bit nostalgic for us.  And of course, we play along too.  #hesgrowingtoofast

Why is it whenever I’m supposed to do a superhero pose, I just put my hands on my hips and stare down the camera? #mommaneedsposinglessons

But if I need to work on posing, I’m thinking Louis needs to work on his camera skills as well. Louis is still in his mode of posing where he’ll either look at the camera or smile. But not both at the same time. Because that’s too much to ask of him. We’re trying to just ride it out. His face in this group shot KILLS ME. #dudejustsmile #helookscrazy

I adore my little family of superheroes. #wearethecutest #sorrynotsorry

Louis used to call us

Firestar and Iceman

. But I don’t get a super name much anymore. #rude  Maybe I’ll just have to come up with my own name. #butwhatidontknow

Happy Thursday, loves!  Hope your day is a super one! #cornysignout

An InLinkz Link-up

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!

This made me laugh so hard. I love Louis's expressions and your posing skills. That's my super hero pose, too!
