Summer Plans.

May 26, 2015

Angelica, Meghan and I are challenging ourselves to blog every day in May.  Linkup and join in on the fun!  Today’s prompt: Summer Plans.

My summer plans are pretty simple: Do all the things.

Ha.  Okay.  So maybe I need to be a little more specific than that.  Summer is so much different than when I was in school.  Summer meant a break from my busy schedule and time to myself.  Now, summer is so much different.  I’m still indoors, even when the weather is awesome, because I have a little thing called a job.  That :: apparently :: I have to keep working at so my family can have money for food and clothes.  Not fair.

Even though our everyday obligations are still here…Bennett, Louis and I plan to take advantage of the summer weather as much as we can.  Louis is scheduled to be in camps for a few weeks during his transition between school years.  We are most excited about Jedi Training camp that starts next week, as well as Dance Camp that will be more toward the end of summer.  I think he’ll really enjoy both of those, as well as the others that we have him signed up for.

My favorite part of living in Wheeling is their awesome-sauce summer schedule.  Every weekend is something new and fun to attend.  Next weekend, we have the Wheeling Chili Cookoff.  And there is West Virginia Day, the Arts Festival, the Good Zoo Brew, First Fridays, the Italian Fest, etc.  Every weekend holds something fun to do and we go to as many things as we can.

Yay Wheeling Summer!!

What do you have going on in the coming months?

Disclosure: As always, you’ll find some affiliate links scattered within my post, which means I receive a small amount of compensation if you end up purchasing something I’ve recommended.  Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.  Purchasing from my links does not alter the pricing in any way for you, it simply helps feed my sewing, creating and blogging habits.  Thank you for your support!
