This week’s themes: Doing, Appreciating, Designing, Humming, Expecting.
Doing. Some cleaning in my studio. Because I hadn’t done any cleaning at all since before the Christmas insanity of November/December hit and it seriously needed it. Plus, one of my computers finally kicked the bucket and it was huge and taking up space…so once it was moved, I suddenly felt motivated to move everything else around and make the room more open. It’s not clean, by anyone else’s standards I’m sure. But it’s way cleaner for me.
Appreciating. That husband of mine. I’m officially on the “I have strep throat” train. Ugh. But Bennett has been great. He never misses a step and has been taking up all of my slack and then some. Truth be told, he’s 100% of the reason I went to the doctor and got medicine yesterday. Apparently he cares about my health or something. I don’t know.
Designing. My website. Forever and a day. I’m hoping to pull myself further and further from Etsy, and to do that, I need a gorgeous site that’s easy to navigate. I hate that it’s taken me over a year to get where I am…and that I’m still not done with it. Merp.
Humming. Whatever crazy song Louis decides to latch onto at the moment. Right now, his favorite dance jam is “Cake by the Ocean” by DNCE. Please don’t pop my little naive Momma bubble and tell me that the song is some weird perverted thing. I’d like to just think that they want to dance and eat cake by the ocean. K?
Expecting. To be working my tush off this week. On new designs, more finished pages built on the website, Brand Rep work, etc. Oh…and we’ve got a new pattern releasing for P4P so that’ll take up some of my time getting things prepped for the launch. All good things, just a lot of things. Such is the life of a small business owner!
