This week’s themes: Updating, Remembering, Needing, Wearing, Being.

Updating. Our store offerings soon.  And possibly the entire name of Handmade Escapade.  It sounds crazy, I know.  But Bennett will be coming on as full time with me and we are going to be adding/subtracting so many things…and it’s time for a massive overhaul.  My heart might not be able to handle it.  But we’ve got a few months until the official changeover occurs.

Remembering. How freaking fun it is to go out with fellow parents.  We attended the fundraising event for Louis’ school last night and had A BALL.

Needing. Well…I just took a screenshot of this morning’s status.  It pretty much sums it all up for me, bahaha.

Wearing. Some 20’s style clothes last night.  And loving every second of it.  I made myself a “flapper” dress from a Made for Mermaids pattern (the Mama Mya) and made Bennett a vest and bowtie (both patterns that I’ve created myself).  It was super fun to get all gussied up.  I love a good theme.

Being. A couch potato all day.  Because it’s snowing outside (WHAT IS HAPPENING) and I’m exhausted from all the fun yesterday.  So McKinleys are having an epic lazy day today.
