This week’s themes: Doing, Appreciating, Designing, Humming, Expecting.

Doing. A whole lot of nothing today.  I feel like that’s what I talked about last week with Sunday Lately.  Whoops.  We had a super fun fundraiser event that we attended last night and I pretended (yet again) that I was young enough to drink and stay out all night.  Spoiler alert: I am not.  I am exhausted and will be found on the couch pretty much all day. 

Appreciating. The network that Bennett and I have built for ourselves over the last couple of years.  There was a time that we were trying to move (and quickly!) away from Wheeling because we were miserable here.  And now we are constantly surrounded by awesome people, amazing events, and fantastic projects.  Last night was yet another reminder of why we love this city so much.

Designing. Some new wooden goodies today.  Hopefully.  I’ll at least do as much as I can from this here couch.  Because real work sounds dumb.

Humming. The theme song to Jake and the Neverland Pirates…because Louis was just singing it and now it’s stuck in my head for eternity.

Expecting. Hopefully a cool down this coming week.  We’ve been so super busy with everything over the last couple of months and I think we are getting a small break here now.  It’ll be my chance to recoop, reorganize, and get back into a steady flow of things.
