This week’s themes: Completing, Visiting, Repeating, Writing, Scheduling.
Completing. Another awesome year at the Wheeling Feeling Chili Cookoff with the Wheeling Young Preservationists. Okay, that was a lot of words to just say that I went to a chili cookoff for an entire day yesterday, ate a bunch of chili, drank a bunch of beer, got a bunch of sun, and hung with a bunch of people. We might not have won (RIGGED, I tell ya!) but it was a day well spent.
Visiting. With some galpals yesterday at the Chili Cookoff yesterday. And realizing that i need more girl time in my life. Who is in for a girl’s night out? i’m so game.
Repeating. A bunch of curse words, loudly, as I move into my new craft space. Tables and desks and such are HEAVY as crap. And I spent an entire day just playing furniture Tetris to get everything in a workable spot. I’m hoping that we are good now. I just need to fill in all of the supplies and fabric, now that the big stuff is in place.
Writing. A bunch of blog posts for tours that are coming up. Tomorrow is a fun one, with “Make Laundry, Don’t Do Laundry”…where we are all proving that it truly is faster to make a new outfit than it is to run an entire load of laundry to clean something.
Scheduling. Myself some time for scheduling. That makes sense, right? I need to clear some time for Bennett and me to sit down and go over a well thought out plan of attack. Why can I be a rockstar for a month and then suck the next? Momentum is not strong in this one.
