This week’s themes: Doing, Appreciating, Designing, Humming, Expecting.
Doing. A lot of sweating this weekend. But seriously though. Bennett and I have a booth with Thread & Grain set up at the Wheeling Arts and Cultural Festival, for the entire two days of fun. And it has been a HOT ONE! We’ve been loving the no-rain aspect of the weekend, but it’s been in the very high 80’s and we’ve been standing in a lot of sunshine. The festival has been a blast so far and I’m looking forward to day 2!
Appreciating. Dads everywhere! Especially Bennett, and my own Dad and Father-in-Law. Smart, driven, strong, compassionate, family-oriented men aren’t easy to come by…and I’ve got them in all forms, constantly surrounding me. So mayyyyyybe sometimes i don’t always see eye-to-eye with these men, but that doesn’t mean I don’t feel like the luckiest gal in the world to have them in my life.
Designing. (In my head) some of the outfits for my leg of my Sew Americana Blog Tour. It’s been a busy week and I haven’t had a chance to sew anything for my own tour yet. For shame! But I have the fabric and the ideas, so at least I’m not at ground zero, right?
Humming. I actually don’t have a single song stuck in my head right now. This has never happened in the history of the Universe.
Expecting. Another amazing day of chatting with my fellow Wheeling and Greater Ohio Valley comrades today during the second day of the Wheeling Arts and Culture Festival. We’ve met so many people and had so much fun already. Bring it on, Sunday!
