This week’s themes: Creating, Finding, Switching, Forgetting, Craving.
Creating. New clothes! A lot of random, non-tester clothes. And it’s been fun. Also some red/white/blue goodies! I am hosting a blog tour starting tomorrow called “Sew Americana” and I made outfits for the whole fam-damily. So excited to show them off!
Finding. Lots of people to talk and drink with last night at the Good Zoo Brew. I still had a ton of fun, but weirdly this year didn’t wow me like years past. Maybe it was because I was worried about how much I was sweating? I wore a maxi skirt and felt like I was going to die from heat exhaustion…why do girls choose these over short skirts so much?
Switching. Gears a little bit this week and hopefully finally getting everything in the house moved and in it’s final position. We’ve decided that we don’t like the new setup as much as we’d thought, so now we will be shifting things back out of my studio space and taking up another room. I’m so tired of this transitional period but I’m greatly looking forward to getting our perfect space finalized.
Forgetting. How much Louis needs his downtime too. I feel like the kiddo has been going non-stop since school got out and it’s time to give him a break. I know I get tired (and am tired!) from all of the things that we are getting into…so I imagine that a 5-year old has an even harder time adjusting to all of the moving and shaking. Today sounds like a perfect day to decompress.
Craving. More fresh veggies. We went to the Farmers Market yesterday and picked up some delicious snap peas and they’re already gone. NEED MORE, STAT.
